Geotrupes Fundus

Geotrupes fundus - a beetle that appears in places associated with history events. These specimens were found in the ruins of post-war debris on the left bank side of Warsaw. Unofficial sources say that - at the eleventh litter - one of the beetles in the flock evolves into the cochlea. According to the researcher Rygiel this figure is much exaggerated, and he has witnessed a number of collective metamorphosis occurring in his own palm.
