about

Two studio recording campaings ended with discouragement, but they were followed by positive reevaluation and further development. Important inspiration came from sounds slowly turning trains at Warsaw West Station, in a place I passed every day. End result is what it is: keyboard played synth layers, plucked strings, field and amplified sounds forming derailed pop tunes with rough background.

Bartek Kalinka plays experimental music since mid-90ties (most of the time as XV Parówek untily recently). He used to be into noisy side of things,
but currently he works with melodies again. His usual interests include: musique concrete, field recording, analog synth sounds, feedback, drones,
harsh noise walls and using acoustic musical instruments. In the last 4 years he has organized Noise Waste concert series in Warsaw.
